The "Pro-MINT-us" project in the Department of Management Sciences has facilitated the successful application by the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences for membership of the "Tuition Quality Pact".
This project resource further enhances the support which the department provides to its students in their transition from school to university. Targeted support resources in the first semester have been specifically created for this purpose, especially in relation to mathematical economics and the fundamentals of business management. Mathematics study videos are provided via the LEA e-learning platform, which the students can also view via mobile devices such as mobile phones or tablet PCs.
For instance, a LEGO car plant simulation for the production and logistics fields is provided for simulating car manufacturing in line with the standards of the major car manufacturers using numerous lean production methods, and for simulating the associated logistics processes.
