Be inspired by new business ideas with enthusiasm!
As a lecturer for entrepreneurship, I pursue the goal of establishing "Entrepreneurial Education" mainly in non-business science departments in order to broaden the students' scope of action. Even though only a few students will eventually found their own organization, I am convinced that employees will also benefit from the way of thinking and acting of an entrepreneur.
For this reason, I offer seminars such as "Entrepreneurial Skill & Mindset", "Business Design", "Social Enterprises as part of the social innovation prosess" and "Marketing for NPOs" university-wide. In these courses, basic theories as well as current scientific findings are taught, outlining how traditional for-profit as well as non-profit organizations can efficiently mobilize innovations to meet current and future challenges. Through agile teaching methods, such as design thinking and eduScrum, specialized workshops, and case studies, students are encouraged to apply the newfound insights.
Since 2014 I have been working at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, meanwhile as a lecturer for Entrepreneurship at the CENTIM (Center for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SME). Before that, I coordinated the master's programme on "Social Protection" and taught in various courses of the BA Sustainable Social Policy.
After my first degree in media economics, I worked as an investor relations manager in Frankfurt and founded an information platform for private investors, which was sold to one of the largest German financial media. While continuing to work as a freelance consultant for various companies, NPOs and the UNFCCC, I completed an MBA.
