1. Course of the Day

- 1.30 p.m. Ecumenical Service at Matthäi Church | Evangelische Kirchengemeinde Hardtberg, Gutenbergstraße 10, 53123 Bonn
- 2:30 p.m.: Doors open at Telekom Dome
- 3:30 p.m.: Ceremony begins
- 6 p.m. (appr.) Evening event with food stands, drinks and live-lounge music in the foyer of the Telekom Dome

2. Invitation and Registration
Invitation to the Graduation Ceremony
All graduates of the academic year 2019/2020 who we can assume will have successfully completed their studies by 30 September will receive a personal invitation. The invitations will be sent out by e-mail from June onwards.
Registration, Registration Deadline
Registration will start in June. Registration is only possible online and until Monday, 12 October 2020.
You will find the registration link in your e-mail invitation and, from June, on this website, too. Immediately after the online registration you will receive a confirmation by e-mail. Please make sure that you enter a correct e-mail address.
How many persons can I bring along?
You can bring up to seven people with you. If you would like to bring more guests with you, please contact us (firstname.lastname@example.org)
Does the graduation ceremony cost admission?
There is no entrance fee for the graduation ceremony. You only incur costs if you buy drinks or food on site (cash payment only).
Can I bring (small) children with me?
Of course you can bring children with you; you are responsible for their supervision. There is no childcare on the part of the event organizer.
Subsequent modification of the registration
The confirmation e-mail after registration contains a link to your online registration page. Here you can view all your details and, if necessary, change them by 17 October.
Graduates of previous academic years
Graduates who completed their studies at the H-BRS in previous years (after September 2018) and have not yet attended a graduation ceremony can also participate. Please also register online as "Graduate".
Graduates/Alumni who would like to attend as normal guests, please register as "Alumna/Alumnus".
3. Dress Code, Booking of Gown and Hat
Is there a dress code for the event?
We would be pleased if you wore a gown and hat during the ceremony. Besides that: Wear whatever you think is appropriate in respect of the festive event.
Booking of gown and hat
Gowns and hats are rented from an external service provider (Robe Academicus) for a fee.
You will find the registration link and code in your invitation and from June on also on this website. Contact robe rental: Tel: +49 (0)8807 9497397, Mail: email@example.com.
The rental fee is 40 € (Early Bird: 25 € if payment is received by 14 October). There is also a deposit (70 €), which will be refunded after the robe is returned.
After your registration, Robe Academicus will assign you a time when you can pick up your gown. Please be sure to keep to your pick-up time, as the issue of gowns closes half an hour before the event begins.
We would recommend that you book as early as possible: the earlier you book, the more convenient it will be for you to pick up your gown on the day of the graduation ceremony.
4. Telekom Dome: parking, admission, seating arrangements, photo reference

At the Telekom Dome itself, there are only limited parking spaces. Please use the free parking spaces at the Hardtberg-Halle (Gaußstraße and Schießstandweg).
A few days before the event, you will receive an e-mail with the total number of people you are registered with. You will need this e-mail to enter the Telekom Dome. Please have it printed out or show it on your smartphone for admission control.
Who will I be sitting with during the ceremony? Where will my guests sit?
You yourself will be seated together with all graduates, grouped by department and in named seats "on the playing field" in front of the stage. For all other guests, the grandstand seats on the sides are provided (no seat reservation)
During the graduation ceremony, photos and films are taken and published on our websites, in social media channels and if required in other media. By participating in the event, you and your accompanying persons agree to the publication in these media. If you do not wish your person or accompanying person to be photographed, please inform the organizer/photographer.
The Alumni Management will take photos of graduates and their guests in front of the university skyline. These photos can later be downloaded for free from a dropbox.
