Background information on "Women professors - where are you?"

The project "Female professors - where are you?" began in 2012 with a study by Bochum University of Applied Sciences on the attitudes of female academics toward professorships at universities of applied sciences.  In 2014, a project team took up recommendations from the study. With the aim of raising awareness of the job description "female professor at a university of applied sciences" among young academics, the film "Female professors - where are you?" was produced.

On display are female professors, employees and students from the universities of Bochum and Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. The female professors talk about their career paths, their experiences and their motivation. The website for the film www.professorin-werden.de provides basic information about the professorship. Detailed information and offers from other websites are linked.

We would be pleased if you would use the film, e.g. as part of your activities to recruit female professors. No special permission is required for this. We would be grateful for brief information on when and on what occasion you make use of the film.
