Library Campus Sankt Augustin is open

The library at the Rheinbach campus is affected by the flooding due to the heavy storms in the region. There is currently no service possible. We offer all our services in Sankt Augustin.
  • You can return or renew media in Sankt Ausgutin which you have borrowed in Rheinbach.

  • Media from the Rheinbach library can be ordered via the catalog to Sankt Augustin. Use the Bib-Ccatalog access "Borrowing in Sankt Augustin".
    Since access to the library for library staff at the Rheinbach campus is very limited, the delivery may take some time. We ask for your understanding here.
    Please also use existing e-books and e-journals as well as the media that can be borrowed from the Sankt Augustin library. We will be happy to help you with your research.

The Rheinbach Campus of Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg is affected by the flooding of Wednesday, 14 July 2021, in the Cologne/Bonn region. No operations are possible there at the moment. There is a general ban on entering the campus. Until 31 July 2021, the campus may only be visited in urgent exceptional cases and after consultation with the heads of the departments and sections of the university. (Last updated 26 July 2021)

  • Single workstations for H-BRS students:
    In Sankt Augustin, eight single workstations are available on the first floor and eight single workstations on the second floor.
    Please contact the service desk, before using the workstations, to receive your seat number. (No reservation possible!)
    A medical mask or FFP2 mask must be worn at all times during your stay.

  • Rooms for teamwork for H-BRS students:
    You can use our group rooms for teamwork (max. 2 persons). Reservations are made through the room reservation system.

  • Research workstations:
    Four workstations are provided in the training room in Sankt Augustin.
    Your research time is limited to 2 hours per day. A medical mask or FFP2 mask must be worn in this room during the entire visit. (No reservation possible!)
     

  • Printing and scanning are possible.

  • New external users are welcome to register.

  • The sale of university articles is also possible.
     
  • The payment of fees is possible in the library (preferred wit EC card).

A negative corona test or appointments for visiting the library are no longer required. All you have to do is to register when you entering and leaving the library. Currently 40 persons are allowed to be inside the library at once.

Wearing masks is mandatory in all buildings of H-BRS.

Please pay attention to your loan periods, our library system still allows 3 renewals.

Please note that new regulations from the government may lead to further restrictions of services.
