Due to the corona virus the world has changed dramatically in the last few weeks. It will not surprise you, therefore, that the CENTIM - Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs - has also decided to postpone the Startup Day scheduled for this year on 14 May 2020 in Sankt Augustin to an unknown date.
The decision was not an easy one, but is currently without an alternative. It would have been a pleasure for us to get you excited about the topic of startups. And we believe, in view of the emerging economic consequences, that the start-up topic will become even more important in the future. That is why we will continue to intensively pursue our cooperation with small and medium-sized companies, especially in this crisis.
We hope for your understanding. And we look forward to welcoming you at the CENTIM at another time, then without face mask and gloves.
As soon as we know when we can reschedule the Startup Day, we will publish further information on this page!
We wish you all the best of health and lots of strength to cope with all the challenges of the near future.
On Thursday May 14, 2020 the Centre for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and SMEs (CENTIM) will host the CENTIM Startup Day 2020. We will provide a fun day to unleash your entrepreneurial spirit.
Under the slogan “From University to Startup: How to overcome challenges and issues faced young Entrepreneurs” entrepreneurs will pitch you the greatest challenges they face with their companies.
In the afternoon there will be a pitch competition where entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas and solutions in front of a top-notch jury and a broad audience.
There will be drinks and networking opportunities.
The event is open to all and is free of charge: entrepreneurs, innovators, developers, executives, startup founders and business owners.
Please join us if you want to get help with business basics, participate in networking activities and choose co-founders, find marketing resources and strategic partners, seek investors and raise venture capital, get access to mentors, as well as improve entrepreneurship skills in various training programs.
