SUPRA - Startup Programme Rheinbach Augustin

The Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWi) recognised H-BRS for its entrepreneuriual initiative, entitled “SUPRA - Startup Programme Rheinbach Augustin.” SUPRA will receive funding from BMWI’s EXIST Potentials programme to implement an active and visible entreprenurial culture at the University.

SUPRA intends to create a central contact point for students, alumni, researcher and employees who are interested in setting up a business, the H-BRS GründungsCenter (H-BRS StartupCenter).

The operational goal of the programme is to increase the students' interest in starting a business and to achieve a significant increase in knowledge and technology-based startups at H-BRS. The strategic goal is to develop a startup culture at and within the university.

The new programme "EXIST-Potentials" supports German universities and their entrepreneurial networks in further developing a sustainable, university-based culture of entrepreneurship. It is part of the funding initiative of the German Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy "EXIST-Culture of Entrepreneurship".
