The SDG Lab is a citizen science sub-project for putting the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) into practice on a regional level. Citizens and the university collaborate to show the challenges and develop solutions.
The SDG Lab aims to produce practicable contributions to sustainable development. Collaborators include initiatives in the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg region, local decision makers, research institutions and students. The various CitizenLabs are leveraged to realize projects that promote sustainable development. This includes workshops, event series as well as online tools for surveys, networking and computer-aided citizen science.
The participatory processes initiated during the CitizenLabs are recorded systematically, studied scientifically and published at the end of the project.
