Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism
Open Project Day of the Department EMT

Hands-on experience is an essential part of studying at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. In the four-one model, each four weeks of theory is followed by a block week in which students apply what they have learned in practice. At the centre of the block week is a semester project, (limited to one semester) or a Bachelor project (ongoing project), which the students must work on independently during the block weeks.
To present these projects, the Department of Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism invites all university members as well as the public to the Open Project Day (last lecture day of the semester). Here, the students demonstrate how the academic subject matter can be implemented in hands-on and real-life projects. The Open Project Day also offers interested pupils the opportunity to visit the Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg, meet first contacts and get to know the various study options.
