The queer exhibition WE ARE PART OF CULTURE makes queer Europe and its history visible through art. On display are portraits of over 40 queer personalities - from antiquity to the end of the 20th century - who have played a decisive role in shaping our culture, science, politics and society. They include well-known names such as Simone de Beauvoir, Alan Turing, Marlene Dietrich and Käthe Kollwitz - all of whom were part of the LGBTIQA* community. They were painted by well-known artists such as Ralf König, Gerda Laufenberg and others.
