Meat in particular is a price driver in a sustainable diet and the meat industry is responsible for a large portion of greenhouse gas emissions in agriculture. That's why the topic of meat consumption is being discussed more and more these days. What impact does my meat consumption have on the climate and the environment? Is a healthy diet possible without meat? And what do the price and origin say about the quality of the meat?
As part of the Respect! Action Week 2021, the Green Office of the H-BRS together with the NEIS team of the Verbraucherzentrale NRW will offer an overview on the topic of sustainability and meat consumption, followed by space for questions and discussions.
