Finale of the Start-up-Cup 2024

The six best teams of the Start-up Cup 2024 have already impressed us with their pitch deck, now they have to convince our external jury in the live pitch. The first three places will receive cash prizes of €1,000 to €2,500. In addition, two valuable special prizes will be awarded and your vote will count in the audience award (the "Award of Hearts")! We are also looking forward to an exciting keynote speech at the beginning of the event (speaker will be published soon).

The final teams

The best teams have been chosen! Out of the many strong pitch decks submitted by students, alumni and employees, six ideas were able to convince our internal jury the most this year. They will present their pitch to the external jury and the audience in the grand final.

The Jury

Our final teams are judged by our external jury, consisting of experts from the start-up environment.

• Prof. Dr. Martin Sieber - Director of CENTIM and Professor of Biology, in particular Clinical Research, Transfer Professor

Agenda

The 6 final teams pitch their business idea in front of an external jury and the audience. This is followed by a short Q&A session in which the teams answer the jury's questions. The final evaluation by the external jury will be based on set evaluation criteria, which include the overall impression of the presentation (adherence to the time limit, presentation skills, creativity and teamwork) and the answers to the questions/discussion. After all teams have pitched, a deliberation phase by the jury follows, which then announces the top three places and the awarding of the prize.
