Makers of Tomorrow
As a partner university, we are able to provide all H-BRS students with exclusive access to the Online-course "Makers of Tomorrow" . The project, launched by the Chancellor's Office, is designed to encourage people to start their own businesses and, in doing so, introduces them to ten inspiring founders and their stories.
The course consists of 10 modules that can be completed at one's own pace until February 28, 2022. A certificate will be issued upon completion of all modules. The offer is aimed at all students, regardless of field of study, degree and semester - explicitly no prior knowledge required!
Entrepreneurship Summer School 21 (August 2021)
The Start-up-Manufaktur Summer School 21 enables students of the H-BRS who are interested in founding a company to expand their knowledge of start-ups during the lecture-free period through inspiring lecturers from the start-up scene and practice-oriented learning content, in order to further pursue their dream of a start-up life.
All participants can expect five days of intensive workshops - on site at our location in Sankt Augustin as well as digitally. The workshops can also be attended individually.
Anyone who is interested can take part; the offer is primarily aimed at H-BRS students. The workshops are held in small groups with a maximum of 25 participants.
The following workshops took place at Summer School 21 in August 2021:

Big Ambitions, Small Budget: Marketing, Branding & PR for Start-Ups (January 2021)
Marketing, Branding & PR for Start-ups
How do I create brand awareness and generate leads? How do I market my start-up, how do I get my message into the press - and that with a very tight budget?
All founders know this: Especially in the start-up phase, you are still unknown on the market and often only have a tight budget. In this three-part online workshop, Peter Goeke teaches how to achieve maximum marketing impact with a small budget.
- In the first part, we will focus on branding: finding a good name, designing a Minimum Viable Brand, and developing a strong mission and vision statement. Tuesday, January 12, 2021, 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Branding
- In the second part of the course, we will look at Entrepreneurial Marketing: what makes good content and what media strategy is suitable for young ventures. Tuesday, January 19, 2021, 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Entrepreneurial Marketing
- In the third part, we focus on public relations: Here we look at what editors look for, what a good PR message looks like and how you can make it on Gründerszene.de even without an established PR network. Tuesday, January 26, 2021, 1:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Public Relations
Target group: The workshop is aimed at all university members (students, professors, staff and alumni) as well as external participants.
