The International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS) is the leading forum for the exchange of news and research on the theory and applications of intelligent and automated planning and scheduling technology. Iman Awaad, PhD student and researcher at H-BRS is a member of the conference organization committee.

Iman Awaad, together with Masoumeh Iran Mansouri (University of Birmingham), are co-chairs of Diversity and Inclusion at the conference. In addition, Awaad is again co-organising the Planning & Robotics (PlanRob) workshop at this year's ICAPS, together with Andrea Orlandini (Institute of Cognitive Sciences and Technologies (ISTC-CNR)) and Alberto Finzi (Università di Napoli "Federico II", Italy).  The workshop is being held for the 11th time and it is the third that Awaad is co-organising it.
