New Project INTERFACES launched – Supporting Pathways to Sustainable Land Management in Africa
INTERFACES is an accompanying project, which supports the science transfer of four regional research projects on sustainable land use in West and East Africa. Part of the project is to incorporate research results into university teaching at African institutions and to conduct implementation research on sustainable land use in sub-Saharan Africa.

Our cooperation partner Centre for Social Policy Studies (CSPS) at the University of Ghana, in collaboration with WASCAL (West African Science Service Centre on Climate Change and Adapted Land Use), the International Centre for Sustainable Development (IZNE, Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences, Germany) and the Norwich Institute for Sustainable Development announce a call for a Ph.D. Scholarship in Social Policy Studies (with a focus on Frameworks and Incentive Systems for Sustainable Land Management).

EnerSHelF closing event in Ghana and first publications
The EnerSHelF project ends after four years of cutting-edge interdisciplinary research on improving and disseminating marketable PV-based energy solutions for health facilities in Ghana. In the first week of March 2023, the project team met in Ghana for the closing workshop and visited the field sites. The closing event was successful in disseminating the research results to relevant stakeholders.
