The cooperation project between the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences and ENSCBP Bordeaux (Ecole Nationale Supérieure de Chimie, de Biologie and de Physique) is scheduled to start this winter semester.

The advancement of intercultural competence is at the heart of the "B2B" project, which Regina Brautlacht and Eileen Küpper from the Language Centre of the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences presented at the Université de Bordeaux last week.

Within the framework of this project, German students as well as French students enrolled in Master's degree programmes jointly practise communication scenarios in English, using the new media available. This serves to familiarise the students with intercultural skills and methods of international negotiation, both of which are needed by prospective managers in business and academia.

Approximately 40 students enrolled in the Departments of Business Administration in Rheinbach and Sankt Augustin can participate in the cooperation project.
