Autonomous Systems (MSc)

The English-language programme is the first Master’s degree course dealing with autonomous systems in Germany. It is run by globally recognised robotics experts, and the b-it bots RoboCup team has been successful on an international scale for several years.

For applicants who need a visa to study in Germany, the application window for winter semesters is from November 15 to January 15 and for summer semesters, from May 15 to July 15. For applicants who need no visa, the deadlines are August 15 and February 15, respectively.

Computer Science (MSc)

The MSc in Computer Science is a postgraduate programme which conveys advanced scientific concepts and methods of computer science with an application-oriented perspective. The programme turns our graduates into IT-all-rounders while also allowing them to specialize in one or more subjects according to their personal interests and career goals.

Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Technical Journalism (EMT)

Electrical Engineering (MEng)

The Master programme Electrical Engineering provides a deeper insight into various fields of electrical engineering and emphasis the aspect electronical system development. Students are also required to work independently on a current research topic.

In cooperation with the Universidad Nacional de San Luis (Argentinia) you can study a binational program and a obtain a double master degree.

International Media Studies (MA)

The Master’s programme in International Media Studies, which is offered in conjunction with the University of Bonn and the Deutsche Welle broadcasting station, integrates issues relating to media and development cooperation, on the one hand, with media management and communications science, on the other. Above and beyond this, the programme includes journalism and practical media-based projects.

Mechanical Engineering (MEng)

The Master’s programme in Mechanical Engineering deals with the interaction between mechanical, electronic and IT-disciplines. Der Master-Studiengang Nachhaltige Ingenieurwissenschaft verbindet Maschinenbau und Elektrotechnik mit Aspekten der Nachhaltigkeit und legt seinen Schwerpunkt auf die Themenfelder Erneuerbaren Energien, Energieeffizienz und Umwelttechnik. Der Master-Studiengang schließt unmittelbar an den Bachelor-Studiengang Nachhaltige Ingenieurwissenschaft an.

Business Psychology (MSc)

The aim of the masters‘ programme in business psychology is to convey applied knowledge, skills and methods for a self-reliant occupation in business psychology. This masters’ program is a full-time programme.

CSR & NGO Management (MBA)

Study our International MBA Master's degree program "CSR & NGO Management" either part-time (30 months) or full-time (18 months), comfortably alongside your job.

The MBA program "CSR and NGO Management" is designed for international working professionals and students with relevant job experience who wish to develop their management and leadership skills and enhance their career in the fields of non-governmental development projects and sustainable businesses. The program offers academic, interdisciplinary, and intercultural exchange and deals with the management of corporate social responsibility and non-governmental organizations (CSR & NGO Management). Innovation and Information Management (MSc)

Within this Master’s programme, students widen their expertise in business administration, information technology and law, expressly linking the knowledge thus acquired with skills in IT and information management. In addition, students learn to initiate and manage change processes in all of a company’s departments.

Within this Master’s programme, students learn to improve strategic and operational planning, decision-making and organisational processes. In addition, they widen their skills in using management accounting tools in key departments of a company.

Marketing (MSc)

The goal of the Master's programme is to give students a deeper understanding of marketing issues on the basis of a sound marketing-related training. In particular, various technological developments and future trends are taken into account in the development of markets. This ensures that the students are prepared for future market requirements and are very attractive for a potential employer. Classes will take place both on Campus Rheinbach and on Campus Sankt Augustin.

International quota: 7% of the available study places are reserved for applicants with Non-EU nationality. In terms of figures: 2 study places per year.

Natural Sciences

Analytical Chemistry and Quality Assurance (MSc)

The study programme covers the fields of safety and security research, in particular with respect to food, medication, the environment and chemicals. It also provides students with methodological skills in the areas of instrumental analytics for chemistry and biology. Lecture languages: 50% German, 50% English.

Biomedical Sciences (MSc)

This Master‘s programme offers a broad scope of in-depth insights in the biomedical field. In particular, the programme covers research topics from biomedicine, pharmacology, human genetics, neurobiology, immunology and physiology. Furthermore, applied topics such as toxicology, drug development, clinical research and regulatory affairs are also part of the curriculum. This degree programme is taught in the English language.

The study programme covers the fields of materials science and technical sustainability.
