Efficient Mobility - equipment

The research field Efficient Mobility investigates efficient transport alternatives, new methods for flow measurement and the acceptance of electric bicycles. The equipment for application-oriented analysis of the above-mentioned topics is as follows:

Velomobiles (three-wheeled special bicycles with streamlined fairing):

• Go-One Evo-K Velomobile
• Alleweder-4 E-Velomobile

Further equipment:

• Cyclus-2 bicycle ergometer (simple ergometer for student projects e-bike test platform for programmable motor control)
• Wind tunnel for streamline shape analysis
• Several drones with cameras to analyze the streamline shape during driving
