Resource-Optimized Products and Processes - equipment
In the research field of Resource-Optimized Products and Processes, resources-optimized component development is investigated with regard to energy efficiency by e.g. the use of lighter components or the higher performance of a system by e.g. a longer lifespan
For this purpose, methods of material characterisation and simulations for component design are applied. The laboratory equipment of this research field includes the following devices and systems:
- 3D printing SLM (Selective Laser Melting) system
- 3D-scanners
- Spiral drilling rig
