DFG funding for open access publications 2023 - 2025

H-BRS researchers received additional support for open access publications from the DFG from 2023 to 2025.

Supporting open and research-friendly communication in the sciences is also a major objective of the German Research Foundation (DFG). For this reason, they have launched the funding program "Open Access Publication Costs". In 2023, H-BRS was accepted into the circle of funded institutions. For a period of three years, scientific articles were supported with €700.

Funding was provided for scientific articles in gold open access journals. Together with funding from the H-BRS publication fund, it was possible to claim up to two grants for open access publication costs at the same time.

DFG funding ended in 2025.
