As part of the "AI Wrap" series, there will be regular short workshops on the use of artificial intelligence in research from February 2025. The target group are scientists, doctoral candidates and students at the university and associated facilities who are interested in the possibilities of using AI solutions in their research work.

When AI looks up: More transparent and verifiable results

In large language models (LLMs), knowledge is often not traceable or verifiable as it is stored in billions of parameters. Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solves this by retrieving relevant documents and integrating them into the answer with source information. In this talk, approaches and tools such as AI-supported search engines will be presented.
