Silent Reading Break - the relaxed lunch break in the library

Just sit back during your lunch break, give your eyes a break from the screen, and dive into a story — the library offers students, H-BRS employees, and library users from the Rhein-Sieg district the perfect space to do just that.

What is a Silent Reading Club?

Bibliothek blaue Möbel

Silent Reading Clubs bring together people who enjoy reading in their free time and want to do so in company. They meet at a specific location and use a set amount of time to read together.

With the Silent Reading Break, the library aims to provide a space and time for precisely that. You will of course find literature to suit every taste here, or you can bring your own reading material with you.

The literature cabinet in Sankt Augustin is reserved every Monday and Thursday from 12-13 pm for anyone looking for a place to read in peace and quiet during their lunch break.

Feel free to drop by and enjoy a Silent Reading Break!
