Bachelor's degree programmes in Business Administration and Business Psychology
Business Administration (B.Sc.)
In the Bachelor's degree programme in Business Administration (B.Sc.) at the Sankt Augustin campus or the Rheinbach campus, you will learn to solve challenging management tasks in a globalised world in a practical and international way. The key future topics of digitalisation and sustainability are always included. Applications can be submitted until 15 January 2026.
Business Psychology (B.Sc.)
Are you interested in the connections between human behaviour and economic issues? Would you like to learn more about the interplay between experience, behaviour and economic success? Then our German-language Business Psychology degree programme is just the thing for you, because this is where psychology meets economics. The application deadline is 15 January 2026.
Tailor-made Master's degree programmes
- Autonomous Systems (Master of Science): The English-language degree programme is the first Master's degree programme on the subject of autonomous systems in Germany. It is led by globally recognised robotics experts and the b-it-bots RoboCup team has been internationally successful for many years. Applications are now only possible for applicants without a visa requirement, or applicants who already have a visa for Germany, until 15 December 2025.
- Controlling and Management (Master of Science): The Master's degree programme prepares students for demanding specialist and management tasks in companies. With the help of modern controlling tools, you will learn to recognise deviations at an early stage, develop well-founded options for action and make strategic decisions - in corporate management, accounting, investor relations or corporate finance. You can enrol for the course until 15 March 2026.
- Cyber Security & Privacy (Master of Science): If you want to develop secure, privacy-enhancing and participation-oriented solutions for digital infrastructures, services and applications, this is the right programme for you. Topics include cryptography, cloud security, hardware security, identification, machine learning, malware analysis, trustworthy autonomous systems and virtual private networks. The content of the Bachelor's degree programme of the same name is deepened. You can enrol for the degree programme until 15 March 2026.
- Digital Communication and Media Innovation (Master of Arts): The degree programme prepares young journalists and communication talents for the challenges in the media and communication industry. Students acquire skills in digital journalism and digital communication, media aesthetics, format development and media innovation, among other things. They learn how to develop and produce media and journalistic products and formats. You can enrol for the degree programme until 15 March 2026.
- Electrical Engineering (Master of Engineering): The degree programme deepens essential core areas of electrical engineering and deals with networked systems, with a focus on the field of electronic system development. An essential part of the programme is to work independently on a current research topic. In cooperation with the Universidad Nacional de San Luis (Argentina), the programme is also offered as a binational degree course with a double degree. You can enrol for the degree programme until 15 March 2026.
- Informatics (Master of Science): The degree programme teaches in-depth, scientifically sound concepts, methods and techniques of computer science. Students choose a specialisation, such as Cyber Physical Systems, Data Science, Complex Software Systems, Networks and Virtualisation, Visual Computing or Business Informatics. You can enrol for the programme until 15 March 2026.
- IT Management (Master of Science): The programme prepares students for challenges in business, administration and non-profit organisations - from digital business models to cloud technologies and innovation strategies. The programme is a part-time course. You can enrol for the degree programme until 15 March 2026.
- Mechanical Engineering (Master of Engineering): The degree programme deals with the interaction of mechanical, electronic and information technology elements, with a choice of specialisations in mechatronics and virtual product development. An essential part of the programme is to work independently on a current research topic. You can enrol for the degree programme until 15 March 2026.
- Sustainable Engineering (Master of Engineering): The degree programme addresses technical innovations in the context of energy transition and sector coupling and teaches the integration of sustainability criteria on the basis of life cycle analyses for the planning and optimisation of technical systems. The programme focuses on the transformation of the energy and mobility sector. You can enrol for the course until 15 March 2026.
- Public Policy & Transformation: Climate-Social-Policy (Master of Arts): In the degree programme, climate and social policy are linked, sustainable solutions are developed and transformation processes are analysed and designed. The interdisciplinary Master's programme provides the tools with which complex policy processes can be evaluated, evidence-based measures developed and effectively communicated. You can enrol for the course until 15 March 2026.
- Business Informatics, Sustainability and Digitalisation (Master of Science): the new Master's programme, which starts in summer 2026, focuses on the future topics of sustainability and digitalisation. Topics include business software and architecture management, big data analysis and visualisation, IT controlling, IT management, concepts and applications of artificial intelligence, sustainable digitalisation and consumer informatics. You can enrol for the course until 15 March 2026.
- Business Psychology (Master of Science): Students can expect to study the subject areas of personnel and organisational psychology, market and advertising psychology, environmental psychology, work and financial psychology. Students work directly on real-life issues, for example together with companies, public institutions or NGOs. Admission to the course is restricted and applications for the summer semester can be submitted until 15 January
