Gender and family-friendly university
The Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences was founded in 1995 as a women-friendly university. Equality is not only a task of the central and decentralized Equal Opportunity Commissions and the Equal Opportunity Commission, but it is a concern of the entire university. In 2006, the Presidential Board decided to develop the university as a gender- and family-friendly university.
Head of Gender Equalities Office
The Equal Opportunity Commissioner is supported by three employees in the Equal Opportunity Office and is represented in each department by two decentralized Equal Opportunity Commissioners as needed.

Gesche Neusel is responsible for STEM promotion of girls, in particular the GETtogether offer. Christina Wolff is the contact person for the equal opportunity office at the Rheinbach and is responsible for the Try-it vacation care program and the hochschule.spezial lecture series.
