Closing Event for the “GIRLS DO IT” STEM Year for Girls

The goal of this event was to spark girls’ interest in careers in STEM. STEM encompasses the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. The project was carried out in collaboration between the Rhein-Sieg District and the H-BRS.

Throughout the 2026–2027 school year, the girls participated in various sessions where they explored STEM topics in a wide variety of ways. In addition to the hack days—during which they worked in teams to find ways to improve everyday school life using digital and technical solutions—the goal was to get the young women excited about future careers in STEM: Career and college guidance was therefore part of the program.
