Violence and Abuse of Power

Since 1999, the North Rhine-Westphalia State Equality Act (LGG NRW) has required that training on sexual violence be a permanent part of the continuing education curriculum. Under civil service and labor law, managers are responsible for implementing the constitutional mandate and the LGG NRW, and, according to the Occupational Safety and Health Act, for “combating hazards at their source.”

But how do I do that in practice? What exactly is violence? How should I behave as a victim, and how can I respond as a helper in an emergency?
