Male Allyship Workshop "What do I stand for?"

Male Allies

Date

Wednesday, 03 June 2026

Time

13:30 - 17:30

Location

St. Augustin, Room F239/240

Gender equality affects us all. And men are not bystanders, but crucial allies. We invite men of all status groups at the university to consciously shape their own role for a fairer university.

The workshop offers a safe space for honest reflection, concrete options for action - and genuine dialogue without guilt or shame. It is exclusively for university members only.

During the workshop, we will address questions such as:

  • What does it mean to be an active ally - in the seminar room, in the lab, in the cafeteria?
  • What privileges do I bring with me - and how can I use them sensibly?
  • How do I intervene when I observe inequality?

We focus on experience-orientated learning, with theory as the basis. With the Allyship Development Compass, for example, you reflect on your personal attitude and develop concrete next steps. The methods are practical and the benefits are both personal and social. The workshop is primarily aimed at men - from students to professors.

Register - and become part of a university that lives equality together.

Please register at Josephine.Kullat@h-brs.de

The workshop will be led by Timothy Tasch (Impactify Training), an experienced facilitator and DEIB specialist with over 20 years of expertise in diversity, inclusion and allyship.

Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/timothy-tasch/  | It is important to me that all participants can contribute in the best possible way. Anyone who has special needs in the workshop context and wants to communicate these is welcome to communicate them in advance: timothy@impactifytraining.com

Do you have any questions or would you like to register for the workshop?
