H-BRS mourns the loss of former university councillor Rupert Gerzer

In August 2007, the then Head of the Institute of Aerospace Medicine at the German Aerospace Centre (DLR) in Cologne was elected as the first Chairman of the new University Council at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg. In his more than eight years in office, Rupert Gerzer has been a highly constructive and inspirational figure in the further development of the university. He recognised the great potential of universities of applied sciences and contributed greatly to the further development of H-BRS's profile. He was a stroke of luck for our university.

Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg bids farewell to Rupert Gerzer with sadness and gratitude. We will always honour his memory. We extend our deepest sympathy to the family.
