Best Paper Award for Katharina Stollenwerk

The team of authors Katharina Stollenwerk (Institute of Visual Computing, IVC at Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg), Anna Vögele (University of Bonn), Björn Krüger (Gokhale Method Institute, Palo Alto, USA), Prof. André Hinkenjann (IVC), and Reinhard Klein (University of Bonn) has won a Best Paper Award for their work on Automatic temporal segmentation of articulated hand motion.

The paper describes and evaluates a novel technique for fully automatically segmenting articulated hand motion into primitive data units. Katharina presented their contribution at this year’s International Conference on Computational Science and Its Applications (ICCSA 2016) held on July 4 - 7, 2016 in Beijing, China.
