Call for Participation: IFIP Summer School 2026 on Data Protection and Identity Management in Leuven
Under the theme
‘Regulation and Innovation: Catalysts or Antagonists?’
the summer school addresses a key issue in digital transformation: while digital technologies are developing rapidly, legal frameworks often seem to lag behind. Are regulation and standards rightly perceived as barriers to innovation, or can they actually promote innovation in a targeted manner?
The IFIP Summer School brings together young international researchers and experts from research and practice to discuss these questions. A special focus is placed on privacy enhancing technologies (PETs) and innovative approaches for data protection-friendly digital systems.
👉 Call for Participation:
Do you have an idea that has the potential to become the privacy enhancing technology of the future? Then apply by 30 April 2026 and become part of the international discussion.
