Open Project Day in the IWK department
Every semester, all Bachelor's students in the Department of Engineering and Communication take on a project as part of their practical degree programme, which they work on in a concentrated manner during the project weeks. The engineering and media group projects are presented to the public at the end of the last project week on the Open Project Day.

Faculty Council Meeting IWK
The departmental council is the highest decision-making body of the IWK department and is responsible for all matters relating to the department, unless another responsibility is expressly specified. The meetings of the departmental council are generally open to the public. An exception to this are agenda items relating to personnel decisions.

Der Fachbereichsrat ist das höchste beschlussfassende Organ des Fachbereichs IWK und zuständig in allen Angelegenheiten des Fachbereichs, soweit keine andere Zuständigkeit ausdrücklich bestimmt ist. Die Sitzungen des Fachbereichsrats sind in der Regel öffentlich. Eine Ausnahme bilden Tagesordnungspunkte zu Personalentscheidungen.
