The professional world in the media sector is changing rapidly as a result of the digital transformation. Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg has invited media professionals to a public lecture series to present their respective fields of work, but also to describe the challenges and changes resulting from digitalisation in their professional field.

Sandra Liermann has been working as a data journalist in the Data and Visualisation department of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung since January 2025. She previously worked in the same position at the Kölner Stadt-Anzeiger and was honoured with the "Hidden Star Award" from Medium Magazine in 2023. In her presentation, she will take the audience behind the scenes and show how data journalism is created at the F.A.Z.
