Mechanical Engineering (BEng)

Study plans Mechanical Engineering

The study plans provide an overview of the modules in the Bachelor's programme in Mechanical Engineering.

In the foundation year of the Bachelor's programme (1st and 2nd semesters), students learn the basics of their subject. In addition, they acquire basic knowledge of application-oriented engineering software and English. In the profile year (3rd and 4th semesters), students choose a specialisation: mechatronics or product development. In parallel, there are additional modules and practice-oriented projects. The practical semester or alternative semester abroad (5th semester) is followed by the focus year (6th and 7th semesters). The programme concludes with a practice-oriented Bachelor's thesis in the 7th semester and a colloquium.

Cooperative degree programmes

Cooperative students begin their training in a company one year earlier and then start their first semester of study.
