Study plans Mechanical Engineering

In the first year of the bachelor's degree programme in mechanical engineering (1st and 2nd semesters), students learn the basics of their subject. This is supplemented by basic knowledge of application-orientated engineering software and English. In the profile year (3rd and 4th semesters), students specialise in mechatronics or product development. Parallel to this, there are further modules and practice-orientated projects. The focus year (6th and 7th semesters) follows the practical semester in a company or alternatively a semester abroad (5th semester). The programme concludes with a practice-oriented Bachelor's thesis in the 7th semester and a colloquium.
