Where do the best graduates come from? The Universum Communications consultancy and access Kelly OCG, a provider of recruitment and HR management services, have interviewed more than 500 company HR managers on behalf of the German business weekly "Wirtschaftswoche". The HR managers assessed the current job market opportunities for graduates, indicating which universities and university degrees they prefer.

The study programmes in Business Administration at the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences achieved excellent ratings from the HR managers. They rank among the Top 10 in the category "universities of applied sciences".

In the degree programme in Business Administration, the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences has maintained last year's seventh position. In North Rhine-Westphalia, there are only three other universities of applied sciences to rank among the Top 10 in this category: FH Cologne (second place), ISM Dortmund/Frankfurt/Munich (fifth place), FH Münster (ninth place).

In Computer Science, the HR managers for the first time ranked the Bonn-Rhine-Sieg University of Applied Sciences ninth place among the Top 10. There are only two other universities of applied sciences from North Rhine-Westphalia represented in this group: FH Cologne (seventh place) and FH Dortmund (tenth place).

The improvement in employment prospects, which has been predicted by HR managers for 2011, is advantageous for all graduates. 85 per cent of those in charge of HR management assess the employment prospects for career entrants as being favourable or even very favourable this year.
