Exhibition „RAD AB, SCHRAUBE LOCKER“
The touring exhibition "RAD AB, SCHRAUBE LOCKER" can be visited from March 6 to May 2 at the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences Library on the Sankt Augustin campus and from May 3 to June 7, 2024 at the library on the Rheinbach campus. Everyday objects become metaphorical sources of ideas and inspire smiles and reflection on technology and society.

Thema: Erste Ergebnisse vom Forschungsschiff "S/Y Eugen Seibold"
Das "S/Y Eugen Seibold-Projekt" untersucht die physikalischen, chemischen und biologischen Eigenschaften und Austauschprozesse zwischen Oberflächenozean und Atmosphäre, die sich auf das regionale und globale Klima auswirken.
Prof. Ralf Schiebel ist Beiratsmitglied im Internationalen Zentrum für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (IZNE) und enger Partner im BMBF-geförderten Projekt KLUGER Transfer (Klima-Umwelt-Gesundheit Transfer).

The lecture series of the Sustainability Alliance of Applied Sciences NRW (NAW.NRW) starts again. The first lecture will be on the topic: "Direct hydrogen production from solar energy - a possible building block of the energy transition". The lecture will provide a brief overview of "green hydrogen" and take a closer look at a new and promising technology for green hydrogen production.

Workshop on ethics and responsibility in science and society
Wednesday, 28 August 2024, Thursday, 29 August 2024, two days in presence, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day
This event provides doctoral students with normative and ethical standards for scientific research and opens up access to the philosophical foundations of ethical discourses related to research. The workshop is aimed at all doctoral candidates at H-BRS, regardless of whether they are doing a cooperative doctorate or a doctorate under the new doctoral law, as well as doctoral candidates at other universities in North Rhine-Westphalia. The contents are identical to the workshops of the same name offered by the PK NRW.
