Bees: Honey and more
Date
Thursday, 04 December 2025
Time
12:00 - 13:00
Location
Library Campus Sankt Augustin
Experience an exciting talk about the fascinating life of bees! Beekeeper Markus Montag shows how closely beekeeping is linked to the topic of sustainability and why, for example, their pollination service is irreplaceable - for nature, agriculture and our daily lives.
What role do bees play in biodiversity, healthy nutrition, sustainable development and in everyday products? What can we do to protect them? An informative talk for anyone interested in bees and honey.
After the talk, there will be an opportunity to buy campus honey at the service counter and chat with our university beekeeper at the get-together with honey treats.
