How does the Deutschlandstipendium (Germany Scholarship) work?

By sponsoring one or more Germany Scholarships, you support students who have demonstrated particularly outstanding academic achievement:

• Each scholarship amounts to 300 EUR per month and is paid for a minimum of two semesters, up to the entire standard period of study.

• Private donors provide the foundation for a scholarship with 150 EUR per month. Federal funding supplements this contribution with an additional 150 EUR.

Here’s how your support could be:

• With a donation of 1,800 EUR, you can fund a full-year scholarship for one of our most deserving students.

• Starting with your second scholarship, you can choose the field of study in which you’d like to support students.

• If you sponsor at least eight scholarships, you will be recognized as a Premium Sponsor, and your support will be highlighted in the university’s media with a focus on you as a sponsor.

Would you like to provide a scholarship to support students at H-BRS? Please contact us.

Potential sponsors will find all the most important information about the Deutschlandstipendium in our flyer and in the guidelines on implementing the NRW and Deutschlandstipendium programmes (see documents below).
