On November 23, 2023, Prof. Dr. Simona Helmsmüller will give her inaugural lecture on "Evidence-based policymaking" as part of the lecture series "Interjections on social policy".

This introductory lecture examines the dynamic interplay between empirical evidence and the formulation of social policy, pivoting around the iterative design and evaluation of a social health insurance in Northern Pakistan.
