Recyclable materials
Collecting in a network
In addition to the familiar packaging materials with the "Green Dot", plastics, metal and composite materials are also collected in the recycling bin. The recycling bin makes waste separation easier, as many municipalities now dispose of non-packaging of the same material in the former "yellow bin"
This belongs in the recycling collection:
- Packaging made from polystyrene, plastic, aluminium, tinplate
- Milk and juice cartons (composite material)
- Plastic cups and bottles with lids (non-returnable)
- Plastic films
- Clear plastic sleeves
- Canning jars
- Plastics, e.g. toys, bowls, buckets
- Metals, e.g. pots and pans, cutlery, tools
- Crown corks
- Beverage cans (deposit-free)
This does not belong in the recyclables collection:
- Electrical appliances (possibly contaminated with harmful substances)
- Batteries
- Energy-saving lamps, light bulbs
- PVC floor coverings
- CDs/DVDs
- Paper packaging
- Remaining waste
