Diversity Creates: International Sewing and Craft Bee - Advent edition

Inspired by the "Sewing Bees" - open, collaborative creative circles - we create space for exchange, sustainable crafts and lots of fun with DIY. Get new ideas, share your experiences and be inspired at your own pace. Together with Jill Yates  we cordially invite everyone to our creative exchange during Advent.

When and where? On Wednesday, 3 December 2025 between 16:30 and 18:00, in the library. Just come along at a time that suits you - there is no fixed start time and no obligation to stay until the end.

What should you bring along? You are welcome to bring your own project or be inspired on site. We will provide materials for you to try out: Sewing machines, fabrics, wool, crochet hooks, material for cross-stitch and much more. Ideas for the Advent season included, for example:

• small gift ideas: embroidered tags, self-sewn bags, heat cushions, bookmarks
• winter decorations: fabric or paper stars, table decorations
• upcycling projects: create something new from fabric remnants, old T-shirts or yarn remnants
