PROFILE OF PROF. DR. ROBERT GRÜTER

Robert Grüter has been professor for logistics and supply chain management at the Department of Management Sciences at Sankt Augustin Campus of Hochschule Bonn-Rhein-Sieg since 2019. For students specialising in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, he currently teaches Distribution and Closed-Loop Logistics, Logistics Management, IT Support for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Management Accounting in Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Management, Simulation in Supply Chain Management (all in German).

Robert Grüter began studying business administration at Cologne University and in 2015 earned his PhD with a thesis on “Financing the chain with supply chain finance and consumer credit” at the European Business School (EBS) in Östrich-Winkel. Robert Grüter was a contract lecturer at H-BRS in the 2019 summer semester.

He has worked in projects of the Institute for Supply Chain Management (ISCM) with SGL Carbon and Camelot Management Consultants, a firm specialising in supply chain management.

In his research, Robert Grüter’s uses mathematical models and simulations to study supply chain finance, supply chain planning and demand-driven MRP. He is a member of the professional workgroup ASIM.
