Archive Research Data
Archiving does not simply mean data storage. The data should also be available on a long-term basis and made comprehensibly accessible.
For the purposes of good scientific practice, relevant research data must be retained for 10 years. In addition, some research funders request publication of the project data. If data is to be archived in a sustainable manner and made publicly accessible, it is advisable to store it in a repository.
