Coscine - Storage platform for research data
Coscine® – Strong partner for your research data project
The research services of the library now offer researchers a new tool for the secure storage of research data.
Coscine stores data from research projects in accordance with the FAIR principles. Coscine offers structured storage with metadata management, collaborative cooperation, and long-term storage for research data.
Data storage is free of charge for up to 10 years after the end of the project. Coscine accesses DataStorage.nrw, a secure storage facility operated at four locations in Aachen, Duisburg-Essen, Cologne, and Paderborn. Coscine has been in development at RWTH Aachen University since 2018.
