Accident report

Please submit the accident report to the occupational safety specialists. This internal report will be processed by Sebastian Engelhardt (extension -636, e-mail sebastian.engelhardt@h-brs.de), the relevant staff representatives will be informed and, in the case of accidents involving civil servants, forwarded to the Human Resources Department. Depending on the requirements (reporting obligation), the Unfallkasse NRW (statutory accident insurance) and the Cologne district government will be informed

The accident report forms can be found in the AGUM process "Reporting work and service accidents"

Accident insurance cover

It always depends on the specific case as to whether and to what extent accident insurance cover exists.

Ongoing doctor

Accident victims must consult a "Durchgangsarzt" (D doctor). The D-doctors have a pilot function. They coordinate further treatment on behalf of the accident insurance fund. This may be general treatment or, depending on the severity of the injury, specialised treatment.
