Teaching Newsroom
In the Teaching Newsroom, budding journalists learn the basics of the journalistic trade and experience everyday editorial work at first hand during their studies. Print media - from initial research to the finished publication - and digital projects are created here in group projects, in which new innovative formats are regularly trialled.
Newsroom
The teaching editorial team also serves as a newsroom for the digital project Technikjournal. The students of the subjects Digital Journalism and Technology (formerly Technical Journalism) and Visual Technology Communication deal with this topic throughout the semester, interesting contributions from the world of Technology onto the web. In the project, editorial work is practised under realistic conditions with topic suggestions, deadlines and weekly editorial conferences
Multimedia studio
In the multimedia studio, students learn the basics of online editing, image processing and website design at well-equipped workstations. In addition to the level of technical knowledge required for online journalists, interested students also have the opportunity to acquire more advanced knowledge in the areas of authoring software and multimedia design through to 3D animation
