International cooperation launched with university in Colombia

The exchange will involve seven experts from each institution, who will take part in two international workshops - one in Colombia and one in Germany - and collaborate on joint project proposals in the following key areas:

• Sustainable energy storage technologies for microgrids
• Optimization the modelling of energy systems
• Sector coupling
• Hydrogen and synthetic paraffin as alternative fuels

The aim of this collaboration is to enhance knowledge and expertise in relation to more efficient and sustainable energy systems, thereby strengthening applied research, the development of innovative projects and international academic networking.

The first workshop will take place from 24 to 29 November at the H-BRS in Sankt Augustin.
