Girls' Day and Boys' Day 2026 at H-BRS (Gallery)
At the Sankt Augustin site, schoolgirls immersed themselves in the world of computer graphics and virtual reality. They explored materials and cut out silhouettes with hot wire. The Engineering and Communication department offered a sweet treat: students made their own Dubai-style chocolate. In Rheinbach, they investigated like in a detective story - here, girls tested perfumes for authenticity and analysed clues. They also learnt how tiny magnetic particles are controlled and why gold nanoparticles make coronavirus tests possible. The nationwide day of action shows how diverse training and career paths can be - and inspires people to shape their own future. Girls in particular should be encouraged to pursue a career in technology, science and research.
