Student survey 2021

Our university-wide student health survey was conducted from October to December 2021. We were interested in how you are doing and what you need. Our aim was to gain a comprehensive picture of your state of health in order to develop suitable health offers for you.

You had the chance to help shape your health offerings and also win great prizes, such as fitness mats or organic coffee. A total of 1047 students completed the health survey, yielding a response rate of around 11%. We thank you all for your participation!

Content

The online questionnaire consisted of several demographic questions (gender, age, field of study, etc.) and various content-related questions. These covered the general state of health (e.g. sport, diet and health complaints), the ability to study, well-being and satisfaction. We also asked which health promotion measures were of interest. The students also gave personal assessments of the study situation and how they deal with it. This included topics such as time and performance pressure, social support, recreation and stress. The effects of the Corona pandemic were also recorded. The questionnaire was approved by both the Ethics Committee of the Medical Faculty of the Rheinische Friedrich-Wilhelms-Universität Bonn and the university's data protection officer.
