How can I use the university library?
Students at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences automatically register with the Registrar's Office when they enrol. For all library services (remote access, printing, WLAN, Bib-Discover) you need a password-protected access consisting of library number + (MIA) password. Does the university offer childcare?
Students of the university have the opportunity to apply for a company childcare place. These are located in the childcare centre of the Studierendenwerk Bonn at the Sankt Augustin and Rheinbach campuses.

What opportunities do I have to get to know the faculty/university?

What requirements do I have to fulfil to be able to study here?
The prerequisite for admission to our university is a higher education entrance qualification, general higher education entrance qualification or proof of prior education recognised as equivalent by the responsible authorities.

Is a pre-study internship required for the degree programmes of the Faculty of Natural Sciences? No, a pre-study internship is not required.
What deadlines do I have to observe when applying or enrolling?

Can I have my certificates checked in advance?
No, we ask for your understanding that we cannot carry out any preliminary checks. We will only check whether you fulfil the admission requirements after your online application.

Is it possible to spend a semester abroad?
H-BRS has an international focus and cooperates with partner universities all over the world. Our department has also concluded double degree agreements with various universities, which enable you to obtain a double degree if you complete the 5th and 6th semesters at the partner university.

Will the modules be taught in presence, online or in hybrid formats?
Most modules are taught in presence. In some modules, online and hybrid formats may be used for certain assignments or exercises.
