Philosophy: The counselling focuses on you and your concerns. Therefore, counselling is voluntary, confidential, neutral and with open mind.

A successful start to your studies requires sufficient time, a little practice and some knowledge. This is exactly where our Fresher‘s Programme comes in. It provides first semester students with support in the still unfamiliar everyday life of studying.

The Student Advice Centre offers students individual support in case of a failed second or third examination attempt.

Do you sometimes ask yourself how you can better prepare for your exams? Are you sometimes less motivated than you would like to be? Do you sometimes lose track of upcoming tasks? Are your days too full from time to time?

Find out about various financing options: BAföG, student loans, scholarships, doing casual work while studying and support in case of financial difficulties.

The service offered by the Psychological Counselling Centre of the Studierendenwerk Bonn is aimed at students with study-related, social or mental concerns. It is free of charge and discreet. Counselling appointments take place at the Counselling Centre in Bonn, at the Sankt Augustin campus of the H-BRS or via online tool.
